Leigh Hearon Investigative Services began business in 1992. Our client list stretches from Seattle to Singapore. Our cases have been featured on Forensic Files, Unsolved Mysteries, America's Most Wanted, 48 Hours, Court TV, and City Confidential, as well as in local and national news publications.
We work on behalf of people accused of crimes as well as unsolved crimes, and have a good rapport with law enforcement agencies across the country.
When we began our business, only a handful of women were in the profession. Today, women make up half of the licensed private investigators in Washington State.
Leigh Hearon, Owner & Investigator
Leigh Hearon is a former journalist, which requires many of the same skills demanded of an investigator. She holds a master's degree from The American University in Washington, D. C., and a B. A. in Communications from Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon.
Before becoming a private detective, Ms. Hearon worked for The American News Service in Washington, D. C., The Washington Monthly, The Oregon Times, and Microsoft Corporation. She has received numerous awards in the field of journalism and writing, and is the author of two mysteries, published by Kensington Books. The 55-acre farm she calls home is the venue for chamber music concerts during the summer.
